The Complex Photonics Lab at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem has an available postdoctoral position in experimental quantum photonics. We seek a highly motivated and talented physicist to develop a new platform for generating high-dimensional photonics qubits. Specifically, you will use wavefront shaping techniques and nonlinear parametric processes to control the spatial-temporal structure of photons in high dimensions. The goal of the project is to tailor the quantum state of qubits for high-dimensional quantum key distribution. The position is funded for two years.
Position Requirements:
- A strong background in experimental optics
- Prior experience in quantum optics, nanophotonic or nonlinear optics is preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A PhD degree completed within the last five years or soon to be completed in physics, electrical engineering or related discipline
