We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow at the newly established Technion’s Computational MRI lab (TCML) at the faculty of Biomedical Engineering of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. The major focus of the lab is to improve patient care through better characterization of the underlying physiological and structural factors in human diseases by developing novel deep-learning-based methods for MRI acquisition and analysis.
We have access to a high-performance computing cluster which allows us to leverage deep-learning technologies at a scale and to a 3T human MRI scanner dedicated to research. Our current efforts are focusing around improving our capacity to quantify physiological properties from DW-MRI using deep-learning approaches with applications in Crohn’s disease and fetal imaging.
We are part of the faculty of biomedical engineering at the Technion. The ideal candidate should:
- Hold a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering/electrical engineering/computer science or engineering/Physics/MRI.
- Have strong programming skills, preferably in Python, and/or C++.
Have expertise in machine/deep learning and/or in MRI acquisition and analysis.
