Congratulations to Anastasia Yanchilina for her new position as Research Scientist at Impossible Sensing

After completing a postdoc at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Zuckerman Postdoctoral Scholar Alumna, Anastasia Yanchilina, has landed her dream job at Impossible Sensing.

At Impossible Sensing, Anastasia was hired to pioneer the development, testing, and deployment of the next frontier of mineral and element mapping technology with BOEM and NOAA to answer the nation’s need for assessment of critical mineral and element deposits, work with a funded project InVADER that will be deployed this summer at locations of hydrothermal vents in the Northwest Pacific to document relationships between geology and life in order to transfer these concepts to future missions to Europa and Enceladus, and also support operations and science for Mars 2020 / Perseverance with NASA labs and partnering universities, academic institutions, and industries. She states, “I’m very thankful to Zuckerman STEM for being a bridge between my graduate Ph.D. work and my dream career!”
